Combine some of the most famous arcaelogical sites of Greece through a wonderful tour, passing by Epidaurus, Mycynae, Nafplion, Ancient Olympia and Delfi.
ATHENS - EPIDAURUS - MYCENAE - OLYMPIA. Leave by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal and short stop. Afterwards drive to Epidaurus for a visit to the Ancient Theatre, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed, through the region of Argolis, to the town of Nauplion (short photo stop) and to Mycenae. Dating back to the second century B.C., Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization and a military stronghold which dominated the southern Greece. Visit of the archaeological site. Then we continue towards Olympia, the birth place of the Olympic Games. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.
OLYMPIA - DELPHI. In the morning visit the archaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic Flame and the archaeological museum. Depart via Patras to Rion, cross the Corinthian bay by the new bridge to Antirion. Pass by the city of Nafpaktos and from there, along the coastal road, to Delphi known in the ancient times as the navel of the world. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.
DELPHI - ATHENS. In the morning pass by Castalia Spring and visit the archaeological site and the museum with the famous bronze Charioteer. A couple of hours free in Delphi before departing and drive through the picturesque village of Arachova, renowned for its colorful rugs and carpets. Return to Athens via Levadia and Thebes. Arrive in Athens early in the evening.
