Villa Lefkothea is a stunning traditional villa, built in the 1890s, overlooking the Aegean Sea situated at the top of Ioulida, the Chora of Kea, in the midst of a luscious green vineyard and surrounded by olive, fig, lemon and other trees typical of Greece’s nature.
Villa Lefkothea can offer its guests a truly peaceful and relaxing vacation. Its unique character, the building, the terrace, the décor and the location all lend themselves to creating a tranquil space, assured to make all your worries slip away. With the center of Ioulida only 5 minute walk away, you have the opportunity to walk through the narrow stone paved paths of the Chora and get to the town center where you will find the Archaeological Museum of Kea, the local market and the various taverns where you will have the opportunity to try Kea’s exquisite local cuisine, famous for its delectable treats. The more adventurous visitors can discover the island’s many natural beauties by following one of the three hiking paths that begin in Ioulida.
On the ground level there are two independent sleeping areas with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Each sleeping area can accommodate two to four people. Next to the sleeping area there is the villa's old cellar which has been transformed into a state of the art, fully equipped kitchen with modern facilities, a large wooden dining table and all the necessary equipment needed to prepare a perfect home cooked meal.
On the first floor you will find a comfortable master bedroom, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a cozy little loft and a fireplace. From the balcony you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Aegean and the breathtaking sunsets. Surrounding the villa you will find a two level stone laid terrace which continues on to the vineyards. From the comfortable lounge sofas visitors can enjoy the beautiful view of Ioulida, the magnificent sunsets or simply gaze out at the ships and sailboats crossing Aegean Sea, while enjoying a glass of our homemade wine-made from the grapes of the surrounding vineyard- or they can enjoy their meals at the dining table on the terrace.
